The Bonneville Jaguar XFR was piloted up Goodwood's Hillclimb by Wing Commander Andy Green
There were two main highlights for Jaguar lovers at Goodwood – the first showing of the Goodwood Special XKR and the chance to see the Jaguar XFR that broke the Jaguar speed record at Bonneville last year (Jaguar XFR Bonneville Video). The Goodwood Special XKR is a one-off, Lime Green creation by Jaguar designed to show the harder side of the Jaguar XKR. It features 21″ wheels, the Lime Green paint job, bold graphics and tweaks to the XKR’s 5.0 litre V8 to give an extra 20 horses and a boost to the torque.

Ferrari is marking 20 years in China with a 458 Italia Special Edition and a permanent Ferrari Exhibition in Shanghai. With the Beijing Motor Show rapidly looming – and the status of China as the world’s most important car market now undeniable – you can expect to see plenty of ‘China Specials’ turning up from car makers. Volkswagen has tweaked the CrossBlue Coupe Concept for the 2013 LA Auto Show after its appearance at the 2013 Shanghai Auto Show. The concept car itself is based on the CrossBlue three-row crossover concept that we saw at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, and given Volkswagen's persistence with the concept and its favorable reception it seems like it may be headed for production in the not too distant future. Even though it appeared as a seven-seat crossover concept in Detroit, Volkswagen has apparently reconsidered the vehicle's size, and decided to target crossovers one size smaller in this iteration of the CrossBlue.
